How to print a protractor?

Our template makes it super simple for anyone to print their own protractor. The first step is to download the design.

Using the download, you are then able to scale the design either by using a platform like Canva or by adjusting your printer’s scale option. This will let you find the perfect size that you need.

Once printed, you will need to cut out the protractor and the center. Lastly, just use the small arrow to line up the angle and you should be set.

Why we made this tool

The primary focus of creating this tool is to provide a free way for everyone to use a protractor. This is incredibly useful for teachers who don’t want their students to have to buy one, or for people who need a protractor in a hurry.

Likewise, the design was made so that it could work with regular printer paper. Almost all of the examples we found did not have designs that would work with regular printer paper. So, we decided to make an option that almost anyone would be able to cut out and use right away.

Lastly, we also wanted the design to be customizable. This is why we also allow users to download a PNG or a JPG. Anyone can add their own designs, colors, or style to the protractors to make them more interesting. This also lets people adjust the size of the protractor they need; you can modify the image to be larger or smaller to fit your use cases. If you prefer to just get a simple download, we also offer a PDF option that you can print right away and use.
