Next you set the word length using the minus and plus buttons. The number should match the number of letters in the answer according to the crossword grid. If the word is a multi-word answer, do not count the spaces in the length.
If you already know some letters from words in the crossword puzzle you can enter them into the Known Letters boxes. Each box represents one letter in the answer. If you do not know a letter yet you can simply leave that box blank.
Once you have entered the clue, selected the word length and added any known letters you click the Generate Solutions button. The crossword puzzle solver will then search for words that match the information you provided and display answers that could fit your crossword puzzle.
